Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. Based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which had been developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightfully prominent place at the brand which had built its global reputation on these incredible watches. Available in a variety of materials including stainless steel and 18k red gold, the Chronomat features a 42 mm case and the iconic bezel with the four rider tabs. Available with a range of black, blue, silver, and copper dials, the Chronomat is matched to the signature “Rouleaux” bracelet and is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.

The Chronomat B01 is 42mm-wide and about 15mm-thick. It wears large but not too large, in our opinion. The polished steel and the wide lugs combined with the dramatic tapering of the stunning Rouleaux bracelet give it a grand presence. As always for Breitling, the steel case is well-made with excellent finishing, Breitling cases always have crisp details, high quality polishes and surface treatments and this one does not disappoint.
The new Rouleaux bracelet on this watch is built more like contemporary luxury product in its own right. Each part being individually machined and polished, and generally much more sturdy than the old Rouleaux bracelets which would bend and stretch over time. This bracelet stands out on the Chronomat B01 42 and makes it even more outstanding.
The new rotating bezel design is clearly inspired by the original Chronomat watches, but this is more refined, likewise with the hands on the dial. The black chronograph dials are very refined and elegant, and stand out nicely contrasted on the silver dial. altogether this is a very good looking and impressive watch.
Breitling’s in-house-made caliber B01 automatic chronograph is a great performer and has a stable 4Hz frequency movement with an impressive 70 hours of power reserve. You can see the movement through the sapphire crystal window on the rear of the watch.

Luxury Bargain Return & Cancellation Policy
1. Order Cancellations We do not accept cancellations once an order has been processed by our warehouse. However, in rare cases where a customer informs us immediately after placing their order and the order has not yet been processed, we may allow a cancellation. Customers must contact us at support@luxury-bargain.com as soon as possible to request cancellation.
2. Eligibility for Returns We accept returns for watches purchased from Luxury Bargain under the following conditions:

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Watches: If you receive a watch that is defective, damaged upon arrival, or different from what you ordered due to a warehouse processing error, you may initiate a return. Proof of damage or error must be communicated via email before returning the product.

Return Shipping Method: Returns are accepted by mail only. Customers must ship the watch back to our USA warehouse address, which will be provided once the return is approved.

Return Costs: Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We do not provide a prepaid return label.

Condition of Returned Items: The watch must be returned in the same condition as it was received. We do not accept returns of used or worn products.

Manufacturer’s Warranty: Our watches do not come with a manufacturer’s warranty. Instead, all products are covered by a 2-year in-house warranty provided by Luxury Bargain. If a customer experiences a functional issue with the watch, they must return it to us at their own expense. The return address will be provided upon request.
